The Avery Dennison AD-843 is the RFID Industry’s first passive UHF EPC inlay with excellent direct-attach to metal performance and possesses the strongest non-metal read range in the UHF portfolio. The AD-843 utilizes Sloop technology from Avery Dennison to allow it to deliver unique read field properties and to provide a durable antenna that can withstand more physical abuse than a traditional dipole through increased antenna surface area. Tuned for general purpose use and direct on-metal applications, the AD-843 has been optimized to work well while attached to a wide variety of materials and applications. By utilizing the EPC compliant 96 bit Impinj Monza 3 integrated circuit, the AD-843 provides strong read ranges which helps to increase system level data capture reliability and allows you to program tags at almost the same distance you can read tags for greater degrees of freedom in your programming operations. The AD-843 also provides reliable global operational across the 860 – 960MHz UHF band. This enables one inlay to be used regardless of geographic deployment. The AD-843 offers the greatest performance and application diversity in the portfolio and is best in class for the 4x2 inch label footprint.
The AD-843 can deliver to your asset tracking system: better data capture reliability, the best inlay value in the UHF EPC product line, simplified qualification processes by providing a “ one tag fits many” applications capability, and comes in tightly pitched high yield rolls for high product density and reduced roll change-out interruptions which means cost savings for you.
Features: - Designed to comply with IATA RP1740c for Baggage ID Tags
- Orientation insensitive design allows for reading at any angle (no dead spots)
- Ideal for baggage, pallets, cases and returnable totes
- EPCglobal C1G2 1.0.9, 1.1.0, 1.2 and ISO 18000-6C compliant
- Powerful write range approaches reading range
- Available in high yield / high capacity rolls
Advantages: - Enables on-metal direct apply applications by virtue of the sloop technology employed in the AD-843
- Strong read ranges mean high read rates increasing system reliability
- Tag circuit is tuned for global frequency operations across many dielectric substrates to create an all-purpose tag retaining good performance across a wide variety of materials and applications
- Write range approaches 80% of read range allowing you to program at greater distances than before
- Simplicity of qualification and application adaptability (Global operation, one-tag-fits-many applications) reducing overall tagging costs
Markets and Applications: - Supply Chain carton and pallet and on-metal item level tagging
- Metal Containers / Returnable totes
- Industrial / Factory AIDC Asset tracking
